Welcome to the website of the National Association of Public Administration Postgraduate Students (NAPAPS), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Chapter. The site contains detailed information about the Association-, the Executive Council members, the Constitution, and a host of other important information. The Association started under the name National Association of Public Administration and Management Students (NAPAMS). Recently, and in order to reposition the name to the realities of the discipline and membership nomenclature as a body of postgraduate students, the Congress of the Association renamed it as National Association of Public Administration Postgraduate Students (NAPAPS). Over the years, the Association has been flourishing. Suggestions and opinions on how take the association forward are welcomed. Please call the attention of Mr. President or the General Secretary or any available Executive Council Member to issues regarding the progress of the Association.
I specially wish to thank the Head, Department of Public Administration of the Great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Professor Taiwo A. Olaiya, for his unflinching support towards the reinvigoration of the Association. I thank all members of academic staff of the University for the support. Also, it is important to place on record the sustained supports from the Staff Advisers, Dr. Oluwadare O. Ayeni and Dr. Bolanle W. Shiyanbade. I thank and appreciate all the stakeholders, the leaders and members, who worked hard to sustain the Association till date. The association aims to represent the interest of the students as well as protecting their inalienable rights, particularly within the ambit of the University rules and regulations. We need the support of all members in ensuring a smooth administration.
